Last night's meeting was our 2nd Challenge meeting and was based on Travel including transport. Members were asked to bring in up to 8 pictures based on the theme and be prepared to talk about them.
Different approaches were taken and a variety of images were submitted, including many different forms of transport as well as images from different parts of the world.
As well as being varied in type the transport shown was very varied in condition – some vehicles being modern and in regular use, some old but well cared for and some being in a state of neglect and disrepair.
The more travel related pictures took us to many parts of the world including Cyprus, Ireland, Albania, Slovenia and Croatia, as well as some places closer to home, with the photographers explaining the circumstances around or the reasons for taking the picture.
It was interesting to see the images members brought back from their travels and it made for an entertaining evening.
